About Us
Located in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, Kissyfur Kennel was founded 4 years ago. I was finally at a place and time where I had the space and time to devote to something I've loved all my life, dogs. Having worked as a professional groomer and vet-tech for the past 20 years, I have a well rounded education in dog health and care. The term kennel is slightly deceptive, as all our babies (and parents) are raised in my home. These pups have never been left exposed to the elements or left to wonder what goes on in a home. Depending on age, Kissyfur pups will arrive at your home with a minimum of one set of puppy shots, two dewormings, a complete puppy care pack full of valuable information on caring for your new pup, and samples of the food they have been eating. I guarantee my pups FOR LIFE against any life threatening hereditary defects. When you aquire a pup from
Kissyfur you are getting a pup who has been given the best possible start I can give them. My goal is to place these babies in forever homes. If there EVER comes a time where you can no longer keep your Kissyfur pup, and are unable to find an appropriate new home, you MUST contact me and I will find them a new home. Surely, whoever created the image of "Gizmo" must have been a Pom fan. From the visual image of fuzzy toys with expressive faces, to their attitude of intelligent, inquisitive little kids,the Pom is a complete package. Bratt was my first Pom and I quickly discovered what Pom fans say is true...."Poms are like potato chips, one is never enough." I recently read something else I've found to be true.."It's as easy to have 2 as to have 1, but once you have 3 you might as well have a dozen."
